This class will cover the basics of gender-affirming voice and communication therapy for the trans and non-binary community. We will discuss what you can expect during evaluation and treatment, some common myths and misconceptions around changing your voice, and review strategies that we use to help clients meet their voice goals. We will also provide an opportunity for anyone to ask questions or share their experiences.

Presentation by: Ryan Ellenbaum MA, CCC-SLP and Samantha Klein MA, CCC-SLP

Ryan (she/her) and Samantha (she/her) are the co-founders of Authentic Voices, LLC, a private speech therapy practice specializing in transgender voice. They both received their masters degrees in Speech, Language and Hearing Science from Temple University. Both Ryan and Samantha are members of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and hold their Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology. Authentic Voices, LLC is currently accepting clients from PA and DE.
